Counseling

Hi! I am Lindsey Roloff, the school counselor at Starkey Elementary School. This is my first year as a school counselor, but this is my 15^th year in education. I have worked as a 3^rd and 5^th grade Math and Science teacher and an English as a Second Language Specialty Teacher. I graduated from Texas A&M University with my Bachelor's in Interdisciplinary Studies and then received my Master's in Professional School Counseling from Angelo State University. At Starkey we utilize The Texas Model for Comprehensive School Counseling Programs. As a school counselor, I conduct bi-weekly lessons in each class where we learn about empathy, teamwork, responsibility, respect, kindness, perseverance, courage, integrity, and so much more! I also work with students in small group and one on one settings to reach specific goals that will help the students feel successful for years to come.
